I agree that i would do it again. I loved the course- just enough hills to keep it interesting (although i agree that last one was hard), and the area is so beautiful. The volunteers were friendly, and i was super happy that there was enough food even for us "late finishers".

Great medal and great atmosphere.

This is the second time I've run this race, both times I've scored huge milestone PB's. I'm in love with this course. This has become one of my favourite races of the year. I will be sad if this was the last year.

Both years I ran it the race was managed excellent!

I agree with all the points, but I'd love to see an extra water station on the course. I stopped and drank at all of them, but somehow found it was not enough. The volunteers were doing a great job.

I liked the simplicity of this event, the school gym is a great place to stay warm before the race and have a snack afterwards. The course is hilly and I agree, if the gods are not smiling that day, you can freeze in the wind, rain or snow!

I'd run it next year if it doesn't fall on the same weekend as another race in the area.

I agree with the feedback above. I would run this race again in a second (maybe not today, but next year for sure). It was well organized and I actually really liked the course. I hope that it's still on next year!

I agree with what Dave has written above. This is a beautiful and challenging course, and it was well supported throughout. There wasn't the army of volunteers that we saw at Angus Glen (a much larger GTA race), but an army wasn't needed -- and the volunteers were knowledgeable, cheerful and some seemed to be doing many jobs, all with equal aplomb.

Another race I would run again in a heartbeat (except that I feel the need to rest right now!)

- 250-300 runners
- fast field of runners
- course is mostly rolling country roads
- very nice rural scenery
- good aid stations for a small-scale race
- nice medals
- km markers a bit "iffy"
- nice high school venue for pre- and post-race stuff
- pizza and bananas after the race

If you like smaller, simple races you'll like this one. No frills but everything ran like clockwork... no hassles at all.

I heard today that this race might be a no-go next year, but I hope that's not the case. It's a good race and I'd recommend it to SW Ontario runners looking for a late season event.
