Route details - Toronto - The Beltline (10.0km)

Submitted by

DescriptionA short run from Midtown Toronto brings you to a really nice run on The Beltline, which keeps you mostly on a dirt path and away from cars. The 5 km shown on the map is one way so it's about a 10 km run to go there and back.
Start/FinishYonge/Eglinton
TerrainSidewalk until you get to the Beltline trail. Flat dirt path on the Beltline, with a few road crossings along the way.
DirectionsFrom Yonge/Eglinton head south on Yonge Street until you get to the stairs (east side of Yonge) going up to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Go up the steps to the bridge running over Yonge Street (Kay Gardiner Beltline is written on the side of the bridge)

Cross the bridge and follow the trail!

NOTE: To increase the length of the this run head into the Cemetery and run on peaceful, paved roads before or after heading out on the beltline trail.
