I'm sorry you didn't have a good race. Better this happened in Ottawa than in NYC!

Take care..

Good job telling The Mental who's in charge!

It was good to meet you at the M&G yesterday. I hope the drive back to Sherbrooke was good.

You'll get the mat next time!

I'm glad you listened to me, Andy. You had me worried when I saw you at 35k! All I could think about was Luc's race report and I really hoped you would slow down a bit and finish standing up.

Congratulations on your 28th marathon!

Congratulations marathoner! What a way to tough it out. :-)

I love what you said "all walls have doors".

I'm sorry I didn't see you on the course. I think you were just a bit behind JF. Had I known, I would have waited for you!

Make ahead No-cook cold oatmeal!

Stupid question, maybe: where do you guys buy old fashioned rolled oats or does it have another name? My Loblaws doesn't have that kind of oats.

Re: Swimming...

I was thinking of you yesterday during my swim. I tried to pay attention to how I exhale in the water. I noticed that I don't start exhaling as soon as I put my head back in the water. It takes me between 1-2 seconds before I start to exhale and then I do it gently through the mouth at first and the...

Don't mess with CinC!

Same here: it took me about a year to totally rid myself of the fear. I rode, but many times I rode with fear. Give yourself some time and someday this will just be a bad memory.

Feel better real soon!

Victoria Day Monday

Have yet to do any form of excercise this weekend but, by far, the best decision our family made this year was to put in a pool! :X! :X! :X! I'll resume my regularly scheduled programming soon :shifty: Have a great day everyone! So jealous! Been looking forward to home ownership for this very reaso...

Re: Swimming...

Am I alone in envying people who can get to the end of one length, turn around, and head right back down the next length? Does this come with fitness (I'm sure it does, but hearing 'yes' would feel so nice)? I don't know how they do it. :? I've become one of those people that JoaniB referred to who...

Allergy meds and running?

Try switching to something else - Claritin, Reactine or Allegra (but watch for interactions with Allegra). The only prescription antihistamines are either short-acting drowsy ones, or Reactine 20mg (OTC is 10mg). But you may need something else too. I was given a nose spray last year that I thought...

Allergy meds and running?

Not so much concerned about running as I am not doing a lot of it right now...right now. BUT - I am taking Aerius that is supposed to be 24 hours- I take it around 7am and am finding that around 3pm it seems to be wearing off. I get super itchy - my face, my arms, my neck, my eyes water and I am su...

My prescription nasal spray is Nasonex. There, you have 3 different brands to choose from!
