The above answers echo what I would reply to you, CK! After a few sessions of ART and making sure I always stretch my hamstrings and butt, I have kept this injury at bay now since May.

I know it is frustrating and painful. Keep stretching and following the great advice on RM!!

I am a fan (okay, I don't love it but know it is good for me!) of taking a ten minute ice-bath after a long/difficult run to prevent any sort of swelling or injuries.
