Hello Everyone,

After a crazy week back at school, I am finally online catching all that I have missed.

Good luck today everyone!

I am running an 18km LSD in 45 minutes from now. Should be good.

Have a good day!

Thanks for all your hard work, IG! This, I hope, will help to keep me going this fall season (sometimes I let teaching consume me and drop off my running. Not this time, though...)

The Toronto International Half was my first half ever, and that was last year. I really, really enjoyed the course, I found the crowd support to be decent, and I thought it was really well-organized. Everybody above has already outlined details about the course, etc. Just wanted to say that I enjoye...

I've lived a bunch of places but I grew up in Burlington, in the east end by the Pig and Whistle (my mom is still there). Which hills do you run? Hi mike runs-thanks for the warm welcome! I am in ...

 Just added mine up- 125 km. I didn't run for 2 weeks while experiencing salmonella poisoning (ewww) from a family trip to Cuba, so all in all, I am not going to dwell on my numbers (though they were really down from July. So I am dwelling a bit...) Size 5-your totals inspire me! I think you're...

The above answers echo what I would reply to you, CK! After a few sessions of ART and making sure I always stretch my hamstrings and butt, I have kept this injury at bay now since May.

I know it is frustrating and painful. Keep stretching and following the great advice on RM!!

I am a fan (okay, I don't love it but know it is good for me!) of taking a ten minute ice-bath after a long/difficult run to prevent any sort of swelling or injuries. Then I take a hot bath to relax all my muscles. Seems to work for me, though I honestly don't know the science behind it as to why sp...
