Too bad I missed you DBB! I would have liked to say hello and meet Cupcake Girl. GREAT job on this race. Not an easy course, but most certainly one of my faves. What a great start to this race season!

Awww, hugs to all who need them. Home with my dude, who has croup. Or is it The Croup? Slept on his floor last night...I was so worried and he was up tons. I never have brought him into our bed but tried last night. He wasn't having it! He demanded to go back to his bed. Ha! Little cutie. Anyway, th...

Fun to hear about all of the babies! And all of their chatting. Isaiah talks a lot too-tons of words but, like V, two-word sentences. But his favourite "word" to "say", unfortunately, happens like this... Jason: What does mommy's bum say, Isaiah? Isaiah: pfffftttttttttttttttttttt...

Hi everyone! Nice to hear all of the updates, even if some of them are not super-good news. I am running 4-5 days per week, just signed up for my sixth ATB, where I will try to PB in the 30k distance. For now though, just running for funsies! Will start training seriously Boxing Day. I NEVER venture...

6 week check up next week and then I am jumping on the weight loss / running bandwagon. Any advice or good plans to recommend? I was thinking about starting with a couch to 5 k. Start slowly, listen to your body, and don't be hard on yourself if things don't go as planned. And 6 weeks already? Time...

Andy, you could have told me to go away at the end but you chose to suck it up and run anyway. That takes courage, especially at that late stage in the game...so much easier to walk it in. You are a class act, sir....you are already fast enough to BQ for sure, today just wasn't the time for it for w...

Awww, sorry this happened to you. When deerdree told me about your experience, I said, "the camber in the road was so bad I have IT issues now and I didn't before!" So YES I hear you all the way. You will get another PB soon, I am sure of that!!!

Good luck to teh HRMs racing this weekend! Lightning, Jes, kick some butt!! Anyone else? me! (but, I'm going to say "only" a 5k - since it doesn't compare at all to their marathons!) Um, ya it does. Why do you think I don't run 5ks??? Seriously you have to run too fast. I hate them. Go IG...

FP. I like that you hijacked it cause potty training is on my mind too. Isaiah has been peeing and pooing in the can at his leisure, and the daycare provider asked me if I wanted to start training him. Eeeeeek...he just seems so little (19 months). Was not even considering it. Not sure how I am supp...

So freaking fast! Did you do anything special in your training? (i.e. more speed, more miles..etc) Or do you think just plain old consistency?
Way to go!

Wow, such a great report. Your race wasn't easy but you pushed through that feeling. I loved reading the report about you and IC running together, not talking much. Those are the best kind of friends to have...where you don't have to say a lot, but you can still support and help each other. Love tha...

Ok - I think I can finally officially join the hrm's!!! Cassie was born two weeks ago, and life has been a bit of a blur since. Until I get the 6 week all clear, it is just walking and surviving for me... But as soon as I get the 'yes' from the dr., I can't wait to start running again!!! So glad to...
