I am sure I'm available for a leg on the Death Race.
I think it is a week after the Orginal Bare Buns run this year so I should have some good stories to tell!

...A running partner
Which is more important, finishing a marathon with someone that you have trained with and will encourage you along the way - even if they are holding you back? Or doing it for me  I think that when running a Marathon you have to run for yourself. It is great running something like the "Run fo...

$3 Tip
I loved the discussion. It has never really occured to me to watch the bobbing of the ponytails midway in the race. But by this time I am usually sucking wind and staring at the ground in front of me. But if a ponytail helps you to run faster, I am all for it. As you can see from my avatar, the pony...

New Asics
I am doing my training in the Gel Nimbus VII. Once you get past the colour they are OK. With the tread design I feel like there is a lump right behind my big toes. They are pricey, though, the cheapest place I have seen them advertised is Roadrunner sports out of the US. For my racing I wear Asics D...

I don't know how a person can run after having a latte or mocha. I made the mistake once, going for a run after a Starbucks Mocha. I thought I was going to die half way through my 5 miler. I could not get the bloated feeling out of my system. I usually have fantastic runs after my Tim Horton's thoug...

I should be more observant on the RM web site.
I would like a Mens large sleeveless shirt. (RAID) The colour doesn't matter but Orange does stand out, though.
Ahh what the heck/Make it one of each.
1 x Orange
1 x Grey
I will pay Holly by Paypal if I can.
Thanks, Alfie

Who do you run with
I find most of my runs are alone, this way I can stop and watch the Deer or the Canada Geese, they seem to always be feeding on the grain. I can even stop and smell the flowers. Now if I want a Fast (Quality) run I phone Rob, I think he only has the one speed which happens to be overdrive. the major...

Brilliant story. I am almost inspired to run a 50km. I can sense you must put in mega hours running to work up to a distance like a 100 miler. I am looking forward to reading about your future exploits here in these pages

How long do you were shorts
I have worn a kilt on a run in February here in Edmonton (no! this isn't a normal attire for an Albertan). I run with the Edmonton Hash House Harriers we do it for a charitable cause. I would not make it a habit of running in shorts below minus five. This is for Running Angel I have been to Crystal ...

My boring fall classic report.
I find these run reports are never boring and always interesting. I did learn something to watch and see how they are handing you the cups. It does seem pretty gross maybe I will start to carry some water for anything over a 10km race. You and Jocelyn both had great runsgood luck on your next race. ...

I didn't make it up to Edmonton this weekend, I am all tied up (I only Wish) with work right now. I will be mailing a money order tomorrow. I would like a long sleeve T-shirt large grey but I will take orange if that is what you decide on purchase. I am 2 hours east of Edmonton so I could drive in to pick it up. We don't have a Starbucks in Wainwright yet so I could drive in and pick it up at the Starbucks on Wyte Ave my treat.

Rotary Run report
Good run Holly! I only ran the 10km here in Stony Plain. I found the people very supportive and friendly. The pancakes were great, I enjoyed Nick Lees on the mike. I would recommend the Rotary run as a very good run. The Last Chance Half might be a great season finale. What do you think Bunsontherun...

Melissa's Roadrace entries
I have two Melissa's entries for the 10km for women for this Saturday's race (24 Sept 05). One is my partners ticket, who has to go to school that day. The other entry form is from one of her friends. I am trying to recover some of the lost money, I would like to let them both go for $35.00.

Tanks & Tags 5km Roadrace
Rob really pushed me for about 4.7 kms than he faded a little bit. My finish time was 20:30. I think this was my fastest 5km in a couple of years. I really recommend this race if you want a fast time. But, if it would have been windy I might have been slower. three of the 5 km are around a open field.

Tanks & Tags 5km Roadrace
It turned out to be a fantastic day for Roadracing here in Edmonton, the weather was perfect. The Womens Race started at 9:45 and the Mens race started at 10:30 a.m. The course was flat and fast or so I thought. Myself and Rob, another runner from Wainwright went through the km splits in 1st km 3:30...
