If you can get yourself to the Skytrain, head downtown to Waterfront and run the Seawall around Stanley Park. Burnaby Lake is great but for a middle-of-the-continent guy who's never been to Vancouver, the Seawall will be an unforgettable experience. It'll be worth the time you spend on the train. h...

Unfortunately the Delta Burnaby is in a bit of a no man's land for pedestrians. It is about a km from Brentwood which is the closest Skytrain.
