Re: When you run Boston with Ridiculous Enthusiasm..*now with text!

Will you keep in touch with Tom and Kathy? So cool how you had founds some support on the course. I plan to. I tracked down their full names using their bib numbers and I knew where they were from so I have managed to find contact info for them both. We formed quite a bond during those tough miles ...

When you run Boston with Ridiculous Enthusiasm..*now with text!

..... a PW can also be a PB. Short story- 4:41:28 (yes you're reading that right), a whopping 46 minutes slower than my qualify. - sickness, injury, and heat worked together to create the perfect PW storm - I am more than ok with it, in fact I am still basking in the glow and think I'll be doing so ...

Re: Boston Monday

Thanks for tracking and cheering. The heat got me in the first half. Wheels fell off at bout 20K and everything else followed. Hardest thing I've ever done but I am so thrilled with the experience. The finish on Boyston is like nothing else.

Weather forecast for race day showing sun and 15C.
While that is a little warmer than I'd like I'm really glad that the 22C and 25C it's showing for Boston tomorrow and Tuesday, will be cooling off before race day.

7K yesterday afternoon. I got lucky and managed to get it done between rain storms. The wind did get me though- I ran the last 2K into a really strong headwind.
