Morning! 8K with the clinic, and probably the same - with hill repeats tonight.

I was depressed at the weather last night when I headed to the store, but by the time we were ready to go running - things had improved. Still windy though!

I was going to start the daily thread with the title Windchill Wednesday, but this will do!

My day started with an unplanned walk most of the way to work into a nasty head wind. Ugh.

Tonight, runpub. I think I will do a 9K steady state run. The route I take has some climbing in the first 3K, so that will have to do for hills this week.

Wicked Wednesday, so much to do today so I can take a measly three days off!

Made it to the gym last night and ran 13 km on the indoor track. Nothing so far today because I slept in a little and will be missing Runpub tonight. Getting my hair cut (nothing like leaving things until the last minute) and packing. My flight doesn't leave until the afternoon and I am hoping to have time for a solid run tomorrow morning (really trying hard to NOT be in the office tomorrow). Between the forecasted rain and the wedding festivities, it could be challenging to run while I'm out in BC but I'll try. For those who know Chilliwack: the sister I'm staying with lives in one of the Promontory developments, and I swear she lives on the only contiguous 250 metre stretch of level ground. Once I get to the end of her street, it's pretty much all uphill or downhill. Great workout (if challenging) so I'm hoping to get out at least twice.

And in case I don't post again before the weekend: GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE AT AROUND THE BAY ON SUNDAY!!! Ed will be running and I'll be stalking you from the west coast. I see the weather forecast is sunny and not too cool so here's hoping the wind stays away and you all have wings on your feet :)

It is so windy here! I thought my little dog was going to blow off the deck this morning, lol. Tonight I have a strength/tabata class. I have done a lot of activity in the last four days and my legs are feeling the burn. It is a good feeling :)

Have a great day!

I run because it's my passion, and not just a sport. Every time I walk out the door, I know why I'm going where I'm going and I'm already focused on that special place where I find my peace and solitude. Running, to me, is more than just a physical exercise...it's a consistent reward for victory!

I'm taking a second rest day. The sun is supposed to return tomorrow, so today I'm just going to stay cozy inside and drink coffee. :)

OTC - at Canterbury. Practice is 6-7, so it's perfect for me. I get up at the same time as I do for a run, and I'm home in time to get ready for work and do daycare pick-up. This practice is coached by an ex-national team member, and he's fabulous.

Just over 9km this morning. Last 3-4km of the run was not fun due to grumpy hamstrings and achey knees. Happy first day of SPRING! - it's snowing here as I write this....

Ahhh... it's all lovely and sunny and I'm inside! And after I did a 50 minute treadmill run last night because I couldn't motivate myself to go out in the rain! I hope it stays like this until it's time to go to ultimate. It'd be nice to run there. (It wouldn't be sunny anymore, of course, but clear and dry would be nice!)

Windy but sunny, great weather. It was 6 km at race pace in the park and 7 x 300m @ hard pace hill repeats for myself this morning.

Forgot to post yesterday, but I did a 1-hour treadmill run. I probably should have used the spin bike yesterday and saved my run for outdoors today in Sunny California. :) But instead I did 40 min on a stationary bike.
