Good luck and be careful!!
Re: Restful Saturday
Just watching Olympics right now. The sun is shining so if it warms up I might go for a run this afternoon after Olympic TV coverage is over.

Re: Restful Saturday
6 days on and still feeling sick, although much better than mid week. DW runs winterman 1/2 tomorrow so we're heading out to pick up her race kit. Feb feels like a lost month to me. I'm in Europe the last week +3 days of the month...so that's mostly lost as well. Oh well, this is the last winter I train in Jan/Feb...I don't enjoy it so why force myself. Was asked to be in Phoenix the week of Mar 17th...may say yes to get some sun.

I changed my mind due to the weather. It's a beautiful sunny day, +1, no wind. Tomorrow is supposed to be snow and freezing rain. So, 10k done.

Good job! A nap is always a good thing. I'll do that tomorrow when it is yucky outside.

Re: Restful Saturday
I drove into TO to run with some great friends, including JB and Mr. and Mrs. Joggler. Always worth the drive! We did a tough (for me) 11km- we went out at a pace that's been fine for 5 or 6km for me, but as the run went on it got increasingly less fine, haha. Plus there were a couple big hills towards the end of the run. So it was a bit of a struggle at the end, but I got it done! It's good for me, for sure, to push myself more as I do when I run with others. It's always so nice to see my friends too!

What's the path near the Boardwalk like? I've been sticking to the Martin-Goodman Trail where I know it's plowed.

Re: Restful Saturday
Only had 5K on the schedule today, but I actually listened to my body and took another break day. I woke up quite tired and now I have a bit of a headache so I think I'm fighting whatever it is my little guy has infected the house with, LOL. Will re-evaluate tomorrow and see if I feel good enough to tackle an easy 10K.

Great run today, back wasn't an issue, weather was nice, I am finally feeling healthy again. 19km in 2:12 and lucked into a Farmer's Market at the Quay at the end of our run so got yummy baked goods and a few treats for dinner this week.

Re: Restful Saturday
As QC said, out for a run today in the glorious sunshine - about 12.5 km for me since I ran a little extra distance at the end to get back to my house. It was kind of tough to figure out the right combination of clothes, and there were some stretches where I was definitely overdressed. OTOH, I'd rather err on the side of too much when the actual temp is still below freezing - "too hot" becomes "just right" when the sun goes behind a cloud, or you hit a long shady stretch, or the wind picks up. I usually don't run on Saturday, and I didn't miss any runs earlier this week, so this was definitely an extra/bonus run, which is especially nice after last week's snow messed up the schedule. There is snow in the forecast for tomorrow, but as I said on FB, today was the kind of day where you can actually believe Spring is in sight. Not close, but in sight.
