Thursday and it's still not spring
Thursday and it's still not spring
Slow 14K through the cold & snow. If I closed my eyes and ignored my freezing face, it almost felt like running on trails.

Re: Thursday and it's still not spring
Well,
Seems like the last chilly day for a while here! I got out for 5 very easy K. That's it before ATB.
Last night was a hill workout with the clinic, so my legs definitely need the couple of days of rest.

Re: Thursday and it's still not spring
Extra rest day, as planned, and I really need it. So tired this morning. And work is insane; it takes everything I have to get to the office in the morning and not lose it before the end of the day. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger...

Re: Thursday and it's still not spring
runpub tonight!
I haven't run since sunday due to a wonky meeting/work schedule this week, but it's a cut-back week anyway so I'm not worried about it... trying to schedule in running time for next week. :P

Plus 4 degrees with light winds - I'll take it.

I didn't bring warm layers, but went to Winners to get a mid layer and went for a run on Queen's Quay. I'm guessing I ran about 4k in 25 minutes.

Spring is not here either, in fact it looks like winter is starting over again. Snowing all last night and today.

Re: Thursday and it's still not spring
Spring is here but I can definitely see the appeal of moving to a warmer climate. Last week was heaven. (And since I'm not able to ski anymore I'm not loving the snow.)
Anyway, I ran a short 5k run today.

-6c this afternoon.
The cat went outside to check under the bushes where the mice and squirrels hang out, but she was disappointed to see that spring is not here yet and came back inside.
10 Km indoors.

Re: Thursday and it's still not spring
45 minutes on the rowing machine plus my prescribed physio exercises. Also snagged a long-sleeve Icebreaker top and short-sleeve cycling top for a good deal but no new running shoes, which are what I really wanted. And two bottles of new (to me) California reds....already opened The Dreaming Tree. Menage a Trois will have to wait for another day.

No run yet. It is +30 with high humidity over here in the Philippines. I am fighting of a cold but am thinking of a couple of kms run later.

8.5 km track workout in 56 minute on a nice evening - it was a juggling act trying to push the pace a bit but not too much. Trying to save some legs for Birch Bay on Saturday.
