Getting ready to head off to the North Shore Half. It's so early, why did I think this would be a good idea.

Early morning 20K, much faster than I wanted to be going.
Re: Sunday PEC Sunday Thread
An awesome 12 k in sunny cool conditions. We had a larger group at run club, but most of them were doing 22. A friend and I cut the route.

Beautiful day, crappy cold. 10k in which the meager hills had me reeling at 100% HR and 60% effort.
Re: Sunday PEC Sunday Thread
Legs tired from yesterday's run, so just did 3.2K around the block. That will have to do for today!

10km for me, on mostly-flat dirt and gravel.

Excellent race!
I found the temperature nice but still a bit too humid for my tastes- still had a good 18k long run (1:54, 6:22/km), last one before Victoria.

Awesome new to read Cheryl, you are ready for RnR in a couple of weeks.

Well done Mary, congrats.
Almost ideal running conditions this morning. 5K done prior to the clinic and then 12K done with the participants. Beside it being a little humid, it was a great day for a run.

10.1K in 1:01:36. I took the subway up to my mum's then ran home, which is mostly down hill.
While I was running I got a text from my BFF who ran PEC and qualified for Boston! She's run Boston a couple of times as a Manulife/Hancock employee, but this is the first time she's actually run a qualifying time. She ran 2:15 under her BQ time, so she should be good for Boston 2016. Fingers crossed.

5 km on the treadmill for me this morning - nothing fancy. Didn't feel like hauling both kids out with the stroller and putting on all the cold weather gear - this was easier today!

Re: Sunday PEC Sunday Thread
PEC marathon today! What a beautiful course and race...would have been perfect except for that nasty old headwind in the first half...sucked the life out of me. Nice to meet Jesse and Erin finally, got to meet Jo-Jo (and C-Moss) as well who were gracious enough to put us up! Also great to see Andy again who did great in his bunny gig.... Also super nice to meet Gilbert Kiptoo the Kenyan winner who stayed with Erin...Really great spending so much time with him. Amelia really taken with him as well. Nice weekend.

No running for me...but great day of hanging out with Amelia. C-Moss fell in love with her...and so did I...what a delightful young lady.
Amelia and I went down to Picton in time to cheer for Gilbert as he cruised to first place....and as pre-arranged brought him breakfast from Tim Horton's. The bonus was we got to hang out in the massage room with him and get out of the cold and wind
We got back on course to see Robin sail to her finish.
A very fun day!

I think I talked to her after the race, and she was telling me about running Boston but never as a qualifier- she and I had passed each other a few times, and she came to me after the race to tell me that she was really motivated to keep the 4 hour bunny behind her, so she gave me a big thanks for pushing her and helping her to BQ. Having people tell me stuff like that is why I like pace bunnying so much.
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.
