2016 WDW Race Weekend (Jan 6-10)

Just a heads up that the registration for the 2016 WDW Race Weekend (Jan 6-10) opens up at noon on April 28th, this year ... Dopey Challenge SOLD OUT within the first couple of hours for this past year ... as with both remaining spots for the 5K and 10K events ...

Also, for those of you who are considering the Dopey Challenge, perhaps a good idea to run it in 2016, as rumours have already been rampant that it may possibly be the last year, due to the logistics of Run Disney hosting a 5 Day Race Week(end) event when you consider the Opening Day at the Expo ... That, and, the 5K is no longer really considered as a Family Fun / Run event, with over 60% of the spots taken up by the Dopey's ...

With the success of Dopey Challenge (from a Sell Out point of view) over the past two years, I find it difficult to comprehend the possibility of them cancelling it ... though, the Goofy Challenge has taken a back seat to Dopey Challenge, this past year, as it did not sell out, as they had to split the Half and Full Marathon events to individual events in the Fall ...
