I ran the 9runrun half this morning and finished up with a 6.5 minute PB!

I was a bit worried as I was fighting off a bit of a bug the last couple of days, but I guess all of that running in the hot summer paid off. It was a gorgeous morning and I felt pretty good the whole run. My legs started fading at bit at 19K, but I managed to hold on. Pretty happy right now :)

Had a fairly brisk 14k today, we managed to avoid the threatened storm yet again, the rain was just starting as we were on our way after coffee - yay. Managed 6:06 average moving pace which is pretty quick compared to most of my recent runs, for some reason lately, my legs haven't liked the slower pace and my lungs are able to keep up a quicker pace ... just.

The only running related activity for me today was to buy a pair of Saucony Kinvara6 shoes from the Saucony Outlet store in St. Jacob's Market.
