Awesome racing, ladies! Celebrate big :)
We train more joyfully and productively when we focus on the now, rather than on our future race day performance. It's a long road from here to there with many miles to go. We need to run each one. Accept where you are today and simply be thankful for the work you've accomplished. KA

Kudos to all RM participants today...what a nice day to race and your timings were outstanding!

The USA had a few people in the men's top 10....and Galen Rupp had a great day

Thanks for tracking and cheering. The heat got me in the first half. Wheels fell off at bout 20K and everything else followed. Hardest thing I've ever done but I am so thrilled with the experience. The finish on Boyston is like nothing else.

Not a bad payday for 2hrs work

Kirui finished in 2 hours, 9 minutes, 37 seconds to claim a silver trophy, a guilded olive wreath from Marathon, Greece, and the $150,000 (U.S.) first prize. Rupp was 21 seconds back, and Japan’s Suguru Osako 30 seconds behind him.

It's nice to see this pic below

In other news.............

Ethiopian runner inherits the 2014 Boston Marathon title but not the prize money

Why credit her with the win and not the pay? Boston can in the interim pay the now confirmed winner while they try to claw back the money from Jeptoo

Thanks so much for the tracking and support everyone! This day was a decade or so in the making and it totally lived up to my expectations! Will come back with a race report soon. :)
