Beautiful day for a race in Vancouver! I finished the half in 2:08 - happy with that! Rob had a great race too. Now we are watching the marathon finish.

Happy Sunday everyone.

Goodlife Marathon in Toronto was today. I wasn't in it. Don't think I'll be built up to a fall marathon either :'( – maybe a half. But I got out for a nice 11.6 km this afternoon. Lovely day for it, slightly cool but once you're running that goes away. :)

I was out cheering on the full course. Missed Stampie at 2K but saw him on Camosun and then again at 24K. No split for him at 24, while I was there an official looking truck pulled up and some guy started working on the box of wires that was connected to the computer. Glitch.

But I am witness that Stampie and thousands of others did indeed cross that mat.

Had an enjoyable but sluggish run in the sunshine. Around 8k done in ? minutes (I forgot to look at my watch).

Great run Jen, Rob & Bryan. I'm not going to make it down to cheer unfortunately. It felt like perfect weather for running.

Mississauga Marathon for me today! Weather was better than forecast (thank goodness), but wind still there at spots. Didn't make my goal but still a good result. Was uncomfortable from about 18K on so glad to see the finish line.

Sounds like a lot of good races today! I did not run. Did the weights & stretching this morning and then 20 minutes on the rowing machine this afternoon. Cold out there and it looked like wet snow was present at one point.

Thanks CMMH! Sorry I missed you at Cambie & 49st Cheryl, I did look for you. But it was great to see you on Camosun and at the top of Jericho. So, you saw the live stream of me crossing and that surge at the end LOL I was able to shave 6min off my last PB!
