I decided to get my run in early before the temperature here sky rockets again. I did an easy 7km

I don't think it's quite Texas here, but it was humid as heck this morning. 10K on the greenbelt trails for me.

Up before the sun to get out to Elkwater to volunteer for a trail tri. Beautiful day for it, about 15C at the start and only 20C when last runner came in. It's 29C back here in the city though, debating a run.

Had a break in the weather so did 16k in a pleasant 18 degrees with a lovely breeze. It was great to see the sky again.

as Mary mentioned, so lovely to see the sky and mountains this morning--no smoke! And the air smelled so clear and fresh today.

I didn't run but my mom and I took my niece and nephew to lynn canyon (their first time). At one point my niece (7yo) was running ahead of me on the trail and she tripped and went flying, landed face first in the dirt. From behind it looked like a bad face plant so I was worried for a second. She got up and I went to see if she was ok. Brushed her off, assessed the damage: scraped hand, scraped elbow, lots of dirt. She didn't cry. She said she was ok. She was such a trooper! I told her she is now officially a trail runner like Aunty! 8)
