Hola Peeps,
I just joined Parks Run Canada at http://www.parkrun.ca/ this passed weekend .. it is a Free Global Running Group all over the globe that offers a Free 5K event on Saturday mornings ... It is a grass-roots organization, non-profit. Check out to see if there is a local club near you.
All events are time and uploaded to the main database and you can see your results from your recent local event, as well as a comparison / rating on how you stand amongst your peers, gender, age group, etc ...
