March should be more stable and consistent so hopefully up near 200km.

A titch under 170km but a significant increase over last month. Works for me.

Montreal 1/2 - April 29
NCM 1/2 - May 27

20 runs for 151km. Feel pretty good about that for now. Feet are holding up okay.
11 rowing sessions on the erg for 60,660m. Nice high intensity stuff that gives my feet a break.
8 spinning classes. Not my favourite, but I just tag along.

Quite happy with my training and racing in March, pretty close in time to that of my race performances from last year, in both the St Patty's 10K and ATB 30K road races ...

In total 343.7K / 32:xx:xx on 25x runs this month ... 8)

Not quite! 292 and change for the month. If I'd know how close I was earlier in the week, I might have tried to sneak in another run for fun, but I know from a training point of view, it doesn't make a difference! My mileage was a bit lower heading into and out of ATB than I would have liked, but still a solid month. And a 9 minute PB at ATB!

I didn't set any goals for March, but I did:
Running - 40km
Swimming - 4750m
Cycling - 40km
Trail biking - 12km
Hiking - 6km
Snowshoeing - 7km

and, as always, a ton of walking!

I am happy with the variety but not with the amounts. I think everything could increase. My goal for April will be to continue more of the same, but add in some upper body work. :)

My other goal for April is to eat less icecream.

So March running goal is to be up to 5K -PAIN FREE- by the end of the month.
Gym goal = 3 x week (alternating bike/weights and elliptical/weights)

No more couch potato here!

Took me longer to get moving on this than I`d planned but I am happy to say that today I did run àlmost 5K pain free.
I am back to the gym and running up to 30 mins.

Well I'm happy to say I ran 188 K this month in 19 runs. Not surprisingly it wasn't all easy, they're were some good weeks and some that were more of a struggle.
That's my highest total in over a year. Got out on the mountain bike a couple times, and as always some good hiking.

My goal is to run 18 times. I have been running about very other day and it seems to be working, so I want to add a few more in this month.

I got 15 runs in, which I am pleased with. I had some tightness in my calf/Achilles and had to cut back a little. I got on the bike a few times to give the leg a rest. My mileage (kilometerage?. ) was among my highest in over a year. :D

I also start my new job this month. :D

Total was 336 km. Before the day started I was 306 km so I already broke my highest monthly total of 300 km. I capped off the month with a solid 30k (2:26) for 336 km so it was a good month for me.

And the new job is going great!

I ended up at 229 (I missed a few runs because of being sick before ATB and feeling rather pooped after ATB). Not too shabby :)

Considering we've been on vacation since march 21, and haven't run much since then, I'm happy with my month totals.

Illness early in the month and a bit of complaint from my IT band at the very end meant missing a few runs, but I did make it to 100km (though not over) in the month for the first time ever.

I'm happy with this month. 9.5hrs cycling, 12h10 min running, 2h15min swimming, and I tried downhill skiing for the first time (3hrs). By far my highest volume in a while.

I start the month off with the Chilly Half and end it with Around the Bay. Somewhere in between I'll run, probably 18 runs or so. Mileage will likely be about the same as Feb, maybe a bit more.

I didn't stay healthy. :( I only lost about a week of training due to my heel injury (which is feeling fine now), and then I got sick in the last couple of days of the month. I had a DNF at ATB, but a new PB at Chilly. I didn't hit the mileage I was hoping to hit. No worries.

I have two races planned, a 5K on March 3 and a 15K on March 31.

My volume was a bit low for a long month (about 250K) but it was a good running month overall. My two races went well-- 5K in 24:00 and 15K in 1:15. A bit slower than last year but room for improvement as the spring continues. :)
