OH GOOD GRIEF!

Postby KaTyBrown » Thu Dec 02, 2010 10:07 am

I give up! :help:
For the past 6 weeks now, I have had a groin muscle pull (of whatever the he.. you call it) Now going to physio for it.
I am pretty sure it happened doing stretches. (you know where you put the soles of your feet together while
sitting and push down on the knees) guess I pushed too hard for the old bones/muscles
Back to icing it and heat 3x a day.
Have not been on the road as it even hurts to raise my leg to put my socks on and walking ......well, that isn't
an option right now.

I am fed up getting old - *it ain't no picnic*!!

Glad to see and read all the postings of running and walking... Take care all,
See you on the roads when I feel better.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your injury!

I tweaked my groin once on a hill workout......what I did was baby it like crazy, and really long epsom baths every evening. The epsom soaks helped a LOT, and it was totally fine after about 3-4 days.

You sound like you're in more pain than I was, so it might take a little longer, but it's worth a try. Cheaper than physio, at least!
