Hmmm, the "Nutty-side" .... you can count me in on this action ...  as, I would sooner do an ultra than learn to swim ...

But, perhaps, a 50K first to get my toes muddied ... :?

Andy, that's why I'm in the world of ultras, I swim like a rock :-)

I run distance because I want to be in good shape when I die.

not really... I could cheer instead. That was fun last year.

That was only in good fun. I wasn't serious.

Can I claim it to be a Freudian slip? Not sure if I can tackle two 100 milers next year, and I think the Lean Horse will be it, and Lost Soul is only two weeks after, yikes.... 2008 I might be ready for it (after WS of course).

Did Size5's race report on Lost Souls convince you to try a different fall race?

I doubt it...... I think Dwayne wants to run a 100 miler before going to WS100 and a nice flat 100 miler seems like a more logical choice than LSU :)

Ironically, I registered for the LSU 100k in 2004, but took a DNS due to a stress fracture. It's on the list of races to do, but I'm going to do the 100 miler there one day; most likely 2008 - got to think long term :-)
