Look who I met on my run :)

Postby blue_cup » Sun Dec 03, 2006 7:09 pm

Aren't they just so sweet? I came up to the top of a hill and then there they all were. They were sitting at first, so I stopped right away and they just sat and looked at me for awhile and then they all got up and started looking at something else.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to pass them & disturb them anymore, but they seemed to think I was okay and weren't bothered too much. As I did I saw that there were five more of them on the other side. Two of them had little antlers (baby Rudolph's!). And of course, my camera quit on me just then.

I did take a different route on the way down so that I wouldn't disturb them again. That was tricky. I think I was skiing at one point? lol

It was an awesome run! :D

Yeah, THAT is what TRAIL running is all about! I keep running and running and running and I never get to see that. The only creatures resembling wildlife on my running routes are the taxi drivers, dog walkers and their (sometimes frisky) pets.
