Yeah, I think an ultra group would be cool. SS is near Hamilton in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area. Actually it is on the same day as the Blackfoot, not the day before as I said (duh!). I'm just sort of following my own training plans as I'm also shooting for a 5k PB 2 weeks later. I'm alternating one really long Sun run with Sat/Sun runs. Longest will be 28 miles, longest Sat/Sun will be 18/22. (oh plus a 50k race 3 weeks out)

Nothing like your megaruns though Dwayne.

Ever think of running the Death Race?

How many ultra people do we have here? How busy do you anticipate an ultra board would be?

edit: and could I name it "those crazy people"? :)

I'd vote for ultra-maniacs :-) Off the top of my head there's Rune, Size5, Mlazenby, UltraMike... any other lurkers?
I run distance because I want to be in good shape when I die.

I think there is only about 5 of us on this board that are running ultras right now.... I'm not sure if we can support a whole forum ourselves. There are already other ultra list serves out there....
