The Four Rules

Postby Nicholas » Sun Jan 18, 2009 10:49 pm

1) No obscenities or explicit talk, please
2) No flaming, insults, etc.
3) No spamming.
4) Respect is key. We welcome frank and open discussion and opinions, but within the boundaries of respect for others and their opinions.

Aside from those four things, please feel free to use your good judgment in making this a friendly, helpful place to be.

These principles are intentionally broad so that they can be open to the interpretation of our awesome moderators, and also to give the community freedom of self-government.

If you feel that one of these principles has been breached, please notify one of the moderators so that they can address the issue.

What happens if someone breaches a rule:
First offence: a mod will edit or delete the offending post(s) and send a PM to the author pointing out which rule they've broken and how.

Second offence: a mod will edit or delete the offending post(s) and the author's account will be temporarily suspended (2 days). An email will be sent to explain the decision.

Third offence: a mod will edit or delete the offending post(s) and the account will be suspended indefinitely, or the offender will be banned (at the discretion of the admin).
