Ottawa Miler Anyone ??

For those in the Ottawa area ... anyone interested in a monthly Miler? My Euro-Sports.ca Running Team has been chatting it up about having regular, say monthly, Miler events ... with the focus to race against others, and yes, mainly yourself ... I believe the first session would be to establish a benchmark (and, no sandbagging) and that will be your time to improve upon .... Such the case, likely no Age-graded scoring, etc. ....

If there is an interest, I will update this thread, with more information ....

eta: I tried to spice it up by adding A theme-miler, a beer miler, a burpee miler, a burpee-beer-miler, etc., :shifty:

but, the consenus is to keep it straight-up ... :evil:

Any candidate locations being considered? Is it likely to at least be a proper track rather than pavement?
