Good work ladies! I know a lot of people would not think 4km is a lot but for me it was more about being on a team and the pressure that *I* put on myself that way. 4km is still a lot for me and I am so happy to have done it on this day for that reason. I am looking forward Scotia 5k so I can set that as my base time.

People may forget that 4k was once challenging for them too. One day 4k will be a short easy run for us, I hope!

Day 13:

I am determined to finish this darn C25K.

5 min brisk walk warm up and then did 4 sets of 5mins of running with 3 min walk breaks in between and then 5 min walk cool down.

Went to the gym today. I found it and no amazingly loud alarms went off indicating that I have not been there in months, so that part was good

Did a flexi bar class with the addition of xco (dumbells?). I have read quite a few reviews on how easy this was  Not for me!
I made it through the 45mins of class.

I missed the gym. It is going to take some time for my knees and back to get used to be back at the gym but I do like GL classes.

Hey there!
I'm new on this site but your tag line attracted me as I too have started over with my training many times. Just curious, what has you starting over this time? Injury or just life? Whatever it may be I will keep an eye on you to see how it's going (if that's o.k. with you). I was doing quite well with my training up until a couple of weeks ago when I came down with strep :( Since I am not in the best shape of my life I lose my strength and edurance quickly so it feels like back to the drawing board again!
Good luck with starting over!

I am back at it. NOT surprisingly I re-started again. I am on 3. My health is an issue for me as I have GI issues but also depression/anxiety issues and I often let them get the best of me.

BUT am back at it.

Thanks Ken :D

I finished the C25k and am now about halfway through the 10K program at the RR. I am trying hard to keep my mindset straight as I am a lot slower this time around.
