I also read the link within that post talking about where the myth of "8 Glasses of Water a Day" came from.

Though after reading it, I went and got a glass of water. :lol:

Thanks for that- he always gives a good reality check.

Saw Dr. Oz babbling about dehydration yesterday- I don't usually watch it but I flipped on the TV to watch a podcast and he was on, and it caught my attention. He made me cranky too!

These myths just keep getting past around and it's really annoying.

Interesting point - the press release talks about thirst in the first paragraph but the abstract doesn't mention thirst at all.

Although its funny that he focuses on Danone funding the study and doesn't mention that three universities and the Army also participated. So who's being selective now?
