Interesting read. I  at the one description where he talked about losing a layer of fat that people who eat cakes and cookies have. I have one of those......

I am in the process of reading the book. It is quite interesting. I'm not vegan but I will give some of the recipes in the book a try when I am finished reading it.

I read the book and it inspired me to work out more. I'm already "almost" vegan so I didn't pay much attention to the food part. I loved his Hardrock 100 story.

I enjoyed the RW article and will probably read the book at some point. I don't think my household stands a chance in hell of going vegan, but I'm always interested in trying new recipies.

About the recipies: I live in a huge city. But the swanky health food stores are 40 miles one way from me. So, I don't have access to a number of the ingredients.

Also, people who cook think its really easy for someone who doesn't cook to do the recipie. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went vegan for a year due to stomach issues. DH and DS are definitely NOT vegan. It kind of sucked making two sets of meals every night. That and I do like meat but I do like veg food as well, so I still do eat some veg dishes.
