I'm a meh on this one as well. I'll finish the cup, but, I won't buy it. I'm not a huge green tea lover.

I had to chuckle when it was green tea......Tori's worst nightmare coming true! ;)

This advent calendar is making me feel like my mother. I'm using the "fill your own" teabags while at home, but, since I often want to re-steep, I'm saving the pre-steeped bag on the side of my sink. I think there was ALWAYS a bag of tea on the side of my sink while I was growing up!

I'm really enjoying this tea! It doesn't smell strong but the taste is great. :D

I'm thinking that it would be good mixed with a chocolate tea, sort of like the Starbucks salted caramel hot chocolate or mocha. I have some "chocolate cake" left, so I might try it with that for my next cup. It would probably work with the red velvet cake tea as well, but I sent the rest of my to my friend since I didn't love it.

We had SC tea before and we mixed it with Ice Cream Cake tea. Yummy!

i think i have some of that left too - thanks!

Still haven't had today's tea yet. I'm thinking Scotty and I might save the "Detox" for after New Year's Eve festivities.

I had Epicure Christmas Tea instead.

Today is Sleigh Ride and that made me do the Happy Dance!

This is my favourite if all the DAVIDsTEAs that I've tried so far. I have a large tinfull already and will be sure to fill another one before the winter menu ends.

This is my go-to herbal.

yippee - glad to hear it's a favourite.

If Serendipity (or, is she braveheart on here) reads this: there was only one chunk of cinnamon stick in my tin - I kept it - so, add a small cinnamon stick to yours! :)

Off to make my first cup of it!

I've been drinking most of my teas black (or, pink!) lately - and I find that I'm enjoying them WAY more than with milk. I just hate waiting for them to cool down enough!

I am a day behind as both mornings I have been running really late. Now that I read the note for me I will have today's tea tonight so I can add the stick. I am going to have detox with my morning snack. Will it detox my grumpy mood

I bought Sleighride last year, but there was something about it I just didn't like. Not sure why - I smells yummy.

I'm not a big fan either. I still have half a package of last year's tea bag....

We will have it tonight but I think DH will drink most of it!

I really liked Sleigh Ride. Kind of had an apple cider feel to me.

Well, if anyone doesn't want what they have at home, I'll take one for the team and take it off your hands.

I'm meh as well. I'm enjoying this cup, but I don't think I'd buy it. It isn't bad, though.

This advent calendar is showing me that I love my black teas, but not the rest. The rest are ok.

David's Tea December Advent Calendar

Postby deerdree » Tue Dec 11, 2012 11:51 am

I'm a little behind - still haven't tried the English Breakfast (that I presume I'm going to LOVE). I think I might try now and maybe sleigh ride tonight. Saving Detox for a day when I feel like I need it.

I tried Hot Lips again last night but added sugar this time and liked it much more. It had more of the cinnamon candy taste.

weird! maybe all the stores shipped back their leftovers and they're selling them online.

i thought it was pretty good value compared to the other samplers i've bought from them. hmmm, i'm tempted to get another except i'm already planning to start over again in january with my remaining tea!

remaining tea?

I've been having 2 cups/day of the daily tea (plus, I shipped a cup/day to braveheart). I'm sure there wouldn't be any remaining tea even if I hadn't shipped that cup....

Most of my tins barely look like there's any missing! But I've only had one cup per day (plus re-steep).

I was surprised at how much I loved Detox as I was thinking it would taste like Skinny. I really enjoyed it, even after it got cold on my desk :D

Me too! Especially since it doesn't have a strong smell but the taste is so good.

Day 12 - Forever Nuts

Really like this one. DH thinks it smells like oatmeal while I was drinking it. The apple/nut combo is great!
