Either running the 5k Bluenose route with a friend at lunch, or running home. Either way, an easy run about 5-6k.

Since it's raining, and my friend is made of sugar, I'm going to predict I'll be running home.

Good run this morning- 5K on road, 6K on trails. Sun wasn't quite up when I first got to the trail so the first sections were a bit sketchy, but it's pretty neat to go hard through a dimly lit misty forest- feels kind of primal!
Keep on rolling, just a mile to go. Keep on rolling my old buddy, you're moving much too slow.

I'm a dumba$s... I popped my blood blister under the nail yesterday and the swelling went down. Then I ran 5mi on it. The toe is now either infected or heavily traumatized. I've got a clown nose for a 2nd toe. I hate these longer than big 2nd toes.. always getting in the way.

Short 2.5K in drizzle this morning. Walked the first .5 then slow easy run for 2K to test my foot. Can't say it hurt but can't say I didn't feel it either. It just felt stiff and slightly off. Overall I am pleased with its progress in healing. Kept to an easy pace and 10:1 run :walk Hopefully it will not hurt the rest of the day and I will be able to gradually ease back into full training! :)

Well, no double run yesterday since I ended up working late. I felt very sluggish this morning and it was hard to get up, so I needed a cardio boost and did an hour on the elliptical instead of the planned weights and stretching workout. It was beautiful outside and I was tempted to run, but since I am hoping to run at Runpub tonight, and am kind of paranoid about "too much" running, the elliptical seemed like the better option.

Here's hoping the showers and possible thunderstorms either don't happen, or magically pause around 6:30! I'm not quite made of sugar (unlike RA's friend), but I didn't realise there might be rain when I packed my running stuff last night so I'm not quite prepared for it, either.

Bah! It better be warm when I get home!

For me, run on the TM later - either before lunch or after work. I am leaning towards after work. We have so many people on Station this week and no plane thatI want to get to lunch as soon as the mess hall opens, so that all the good stuff isn't gone

45 minutes done in the pool early this morning.

I'm planning on some gramma-time with my new grandson, but hoping to add an easy 3km run sometime later.

Beauty day out there!

 I checked with her, and we're not running. Apparently it's too cold to run in the rain (8 degrees). I'm kind of glad. This way I don't have to take the crowded transit home!

I hope you don't get thunderstorms. Those, I don't like.

Had a great ride last night even with the 25km/hr wind going into Cochrane - TT effort for 20k and got that done in 39min. Total ride was 32k in just over an hour - felt great on the bike even with my legs still feeling a bit cooked from Sunday.

Today's plan is a run home from work - will aim to keep it on the tempo side to prevent the easy/whatever pace side I'd rather run.

This time next week I'll be waking up in the Woodlands, TX and doing race check in! 10 more sleeps until race day!

Well I managed a swim yesterday but it was ugly. I think I will try a run today to see if the legs are working yet.

It was a beautiful morning for a run. I am supposed to run intervals with the NOTL Road Runners tonight, but I needed a "mental health" run this morning: 8.9k, ending at 5:10 mpk pace.
