#45 Irving

Postby Spirit Unleashed » Sun Apr 05, 2015 11:33 am

Short story: Wow! 5h06.xx

I did really well. While I ran 7x1s, I did run fast when I was running. 2 pit stops. My 10k split was one hour almost exactly. Uh, waaay too fast.
Fuel: 20 oz Accelerade, 20 oz of course provided Gatorade or water, 6 gels.
What is cool is that my knee was not having any problems so I felt confident about running in the last couple of miles. I achieved that tiredness which comes from really running a marathon but not Hurting yourself.

A long report mixed in with my mental and spiritual BS is here:

Congratulations on another marathon. You did great.

I'm very happy to read that your knee is behaving.

I just watched the YouTube of the course. Flat and fast, some of the pathways looked nice.
