feel free to add activities in the list.

I don't know how to edit. I can see it though. I'm on an iPad if that makes a difference.

Same here - I use Google Docs & Google Slides all the time but can't figure this out. I already messed up the challenge a bit. I was tight for time today so I ran a brisk 5km. I'll have to add my missing time to tomorrow's run. But I did run & I didn't really want to - happy for the challenge motivation :).

You can't just enter in the boxes? I set the permissions that anyone can edit. :/

I was just able to edit. I also added weights to the list of activities.

I did it, too. Just click in the box and put in the code for workout. Or makeup your own like eme did. :P

But I'm pretty sure you can't do it on an ipad or iphone. Sue- I can do it for you if you want.

I edit google docs on my iphone all the time. I use the Sheets app.

OK, that works-- but you can't just click on the link and edit it. It should ask you to go to the sheets app, and then you have to download it if you don't have it.

The X was because I am starting today and I didn't workout yesterday :)

Thank you Jenn for updating mine. I will look into downloading that app or go onto the laptop every few days to update.

Dec 1: Spin class
Dec 2: Bike to work, swim before work, run after work
Dec 3: Bike to work

I'll update the tracker when I get home. I will count biking to work this month because it's not something I've ever done before (this late in the season). Biking to work in June is a bit of a no-brainer.

ETA: tracker updated. Since I did a bike, swim, and run on Wednesday, I just logged it as a Run. And for spinning I used Cycling.

December Beast Challenge

Postby Jwolf » Fri Dec 04, 2015 12:53 pm

Had to cut it a bit short today because I was short on time- still got in the 35 min run but didn't do the walk before and after.

Dec 1: 45 min of run walk (including 32 min of 3 min run/1 min walk)
Dec 2: 45 min bike trainer
Dec 3: 45 min run/walk as 5 min walk, then 9 x 3-and-1, 5 min walk.
Dec 4: 35 min run walk (3-and-1s again)

I'm sick, so I might be out before the first week is even done! :( I don't know if I'll be able to drag myself outside for a run later.

I almost wussed out today and was going to blame it on my ankle (in reality I'm just tired!). Went anyway, 2.6 miles done today. :)

With that said, my ankle is feeling tender today so depending on how it feels in the next 24-48 hours I may need to take a rest day soon.

Didn't get out for a run today (weekends are tough) but I did spend 35 minutes stretching, rolling, and doing some tabata-style planks and glute bridges tonight. It's not an intense workout but it's something that I never do, that I've been wanting to start. I added it to the spreadsheet as "maintenance", for lack of a better catch-all term.

my ankle was twinging during my run today and is puffy now so I'm going to give it a rest day tomorrow. My legs could use it too (I don't know the last time I went 7 days in a row!). So tomorrow I will try to do core/upper... that will be an adventure since I haven't worked those parts of my body in a VERY long time.
