Day off for me today..... I got back from hot dry Alberta Sunday night, and ran a 10 with crash yesterday. My run bit! Yesterday my lungs feel like they are only working at half capacity -- could this be because my lungs have to reacclimatize to this wet west coast air? I hope that is all it is.... :?

I've got nothing in me today, so glad it is a rest day.....

After a practice run for the abbostford police run last night, I am ready for a rest day. But what exactly is rest when you are still moving around all day doing housework and hauling furniture around the house? lol

Thanks, everyone. The only times I have run in the bike lane (three times?) were when I was running with someone (who was on the sidewalk), and instead of running ahead of or behind him, I could keep pace beside him on the road... but I guess it is back to that. :? And as for bikes, out here we have...

I am so confused.... what are the rules for running on city roads? I had someone wagging their finger at me for running in the bike lane, on the left side of the road, so against traffic. Am I supposed to be on the other side of the road, going with traffic in the bike lane? I had someone get mad at...

7.3 with crash this morning, followed by a 25:19 5 km run with ds. Now all I need is a full body massage and I would be happy for the weekend!

SO glad it is a rest day today. Just plain tired.........

Well, laps was a big FAIL tonight! By lap six I was feeling light headed and dizzy, so called it quits before the lifeguard needed to jump in after me......

Rainy here! Did a 13.5 with crash this morning, then took out my 7 year old daughter for her first run. She did 3.4 km in just over 20 minutes! Not bad for a newbie.... :D In about an hour I am taking my ten year old son for a 5 km -- he has new runners to wear in, so we shall see how his feet feel...

rest day, from running. Gardening all day, and a slim possibility of a swim tonight......

super dee dooper fast 5km with crash this morning -- 23:57! Yay my quads are all better! We followed it with a leisurely jaunt around the neighbourhood, but that run slayed me for the next run planned with my son. He heard our time and was determined to beat us, and managed to take more than 2 minut...

Went laser tagging last night, and ended up sleeping in this morning... rest day for me (first one this week!), but hoping to get in some laps and hot tubbing at the pool tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed!

My ds killed it this morning with a new PB -- 27:29!!!!!!!
Nice strong run.... I think he likes it!
