Happy 10th Anniversary, RM!!
I'm taking a super quick break from hanging the last of the wall art and unpacking the last boxes to stop by and say Happy Birthday to the online community that gave me so many friends. Hard to believe it has been 10 years! Where has the time gone? Btw, IG, the Ottawa shot glass arrived yesterday (m...

Re: Getting back into running...
I'm on course in Gagetown for the next few weeks. There is a running room in Fredericton. I'm going to check them out tomorrow. You may absolutely right! Freddy RunningRoom is good, they are the ones that fitted me for my first pair 9 years ago. (Gosh, it's been that long!?!?) Good luck on course. ...

Re: Getting back into running...
Welcome! There are a few military types here. I'm a 9erD so I know all too well the toll Op Tempo can have on consistent running. It is my hubby's biggest complaints. What you describe is similar to what happens to me when I run in the wrong shoes. I highly recommend going to a running store to get ...

Re: 2014 Army Run -- September 21, 2014
I've decided that since I'm not moving to Toronto this summer I'm going to fly back to Ottawa for this.
Y'all can get yer CAW fix!
I will be meeting up and running with a friend who is posted to Gagetown.

Re: David's Tea
This will make you laugh, I still have Goji Pop from the Advent calendar the year prior. Everyone slammed it and I never had the guts to fire up a pot, figuring I'd probably not like it either. I have too much tea variety and I keep sticking with my old favourites. I still have a Goji Pop fro...

Re: magnesium?
You guys have convinced me to try it so just bought 500mg pills. Just magnesium? They say you should take it with calcium because the two help each other work more effectively, but if you take too much of one without the other then it can backfire. I only take magnesium. I'm not dead yet. I never k...

Re: magnesium?
I've been taking 500mg Magnesium since last spring. I did not know any of the muscle benefits of magnesium, I started taking the supplement for digestion with the sleep aid being a welcome side-effect. Doubt if any of this is related but here's what I've noticed: I'm running faster than I ever have ...

Re: David's Tea
I went to Davids Tea yesterday :shifty: and got the Sweetheart Collection and samples of Earl Grey, Countess of Seville, Earl's Garden, Fantasy Island, Vanilla Orchid, Chocolate Rocket. I've tried Earl Grey, Earls' Garden, and Vanilla Orchid. Of course all 3 I liked. I never thought I would h...

Re: Teacher missing after run
I remember that Edmonton missing young man, and also the missing soldier... :( But the missing soldier, Jason Anderson, (my former neighbour) fortunately was found and returned home...so at least there was a happy ending there. I hate to say it, but I'm not holding out much hope for the teacher's c...

Great memories reading thru these old posts. Habs even posted for the first time on RM in this thread! I'm sure we'll be around for marathon weekend. Yep 15 June.
