Re: Confesssions...
I am unmotivated, lazy and getting fat. Anyone else? I had the start of an awesome comeback happening and then...POOF! I have no idea what happened. Now it has been 2 weeks since I ran. Is it the summer? I am finding it very hard to get going this summer. My schedule is really regimented with the k...

In fact, one of the reasons I am so impressed with the service is that my bike was a 2007 clearance model for which I paid only $650 ! That was a lot of money to me but pretty small potatoes in their context yet I've still been treated like I spent 10 times that amount. That IS amazing! (it's still...

Diet Software
After reading BJH's thread on diet software, does anyone use software other than Diet Power? I'm trying the 14 day trial now, (and boy is it an eye opener!) .. but think I want to look at some others too. Any recommendations?

How fast was the cyclist going? I often run on a multi-use recreation path and I always do a shoulder check before changing lanes, passing another runner, or turning around. Although both people are responsible, in this case (and without knowing all the details) I'd probably say that the runner was...

"Exercise works and is integral to most for weight maintenance, but not via its direct Calorie burning capacity (which is small), but rather through its remarkable ability to cultivate healthy attitudes about weight management and in so doing, support dietary restraint and thoughtfulness for the lo...

Ugh... sorry about the shin splints... you aren't first to fall victim to the "I can cram more in" syndrome... Wasn't there an article in last months Runners World, one of the women (one of the editors?) who was training for a marathon injured herself very badly and had to do several weeks of her tr...

I, on the other hand, cannot get contacts into my eyes. I've been running with glasses for about 2 years now - I started right after I commented on the "cute bunny" - which turned out to be a bag of dog poop! I don't even notice them anymore. I should really get myself some prescription sunglasses....

My night and days are not expensive! I order them through vision direct online and pay about $100 for 6 months worth. I am not very diligent about replacing them every 30 days so 6 pairs lasts more like 8-9 months. I have been wearing them for 3 years without any issues. You have to get the first pa...

Re: I'm feeling a little bit sad...
I'm feeling a little bit sad as I look back over the late spring and summer and feel like I haven't accomplished anything running/fitness wise. Hrmpph. I still have the Run for the Toad on my radar for the fall, but I am wondering when I am going to have to call an end to that as I haven't run in t...

Soft contacts... they go in first thing in the AM...(after a while, it takes all of 10 seconds to put them both in... I can do it with no mirror) I would be devastated if I had to go back to wearing glasses! I sweat rather heavily and the glasses chafe my nose and steam up... Contacts = freedom!!!!!...

Hi Nancy, I have the fiona bra and like it a lot! I love the fact that the straps are adjustable from the front. Really prevents the bouncing. Here'S what I have Fiona Bra I have this one too! VERY comfortable... so soft and comes up a little higher than most I've tried! Lots of support but not the...
