Just in from a glorious 8 k along the river
Spectacular day! Day job stuff then into the city to run errands and get some mountain bike shorts for my new ride! Woot!

Holy it was humid on bike this morning 38km done though!
Thank goodness for he pool, jumped right in after bike shorts and all !

Seems forever since I have been on the forum. Crazy few weeks with my Mom passing away, family in from out of town, and finishing our haying.
Back to work today but heading out shortly for a cycle with hubby 30-40k planned. Going to be a hot one!

We are stuck at home haying and not able to make if anyone wants our bibs you are welcome to them. Jeff or Kathy Moffatt Jeff's has a kilt with it. If no one wants them and happen to get this and could grab the schwag for us that would be wonderful. Pm me if interested I realize very short notice G...

Nice easy 5 k along Rideau river this morning. Calf is back to normal so back to running routine this weekend. Haying has started so strength work today will be flinging bales! Mom is in the hospital having lung biopsy today so will go visit her later today. Praying for a good prognosis.

Well first run yesterday after a week off with calf injury. It is still tight but not as sore which is good! Today no running but plan to cycle with cycle group at Sport X this evening. Need to get used to pack riding as I prep for Ride the Rideau in September. Yikes!

Just finished weeding the veggie garden.man it is hot out there. Still hobbling around on a bum calf so no running for me and lower back twingey from cycling yesterday. I am abit of a wreck however won't let tat ruin my vacation which startsToday:)

Weird calf injury has me hobbling around on my first day of vacation but sun is shining and I think I will hobble around the garden and the pool. Sadly I think running will be sidelined for a few days but I brt I can cycle maybe and for sure ride a horse!

Well this was my 4th half marathon not including the one bib I gave to Air Force Runner to run for me!! No serious running goals other than keep my mileage at about 30k a week. Have 100km cycling event in September that I will be gearing up to. Looking for a fall/ early winter1/2 marathon to try and PB and get Air force runner to wear a skirt. Thinking Vegas rock n roll half will be there anyway

Thoroughly enjoyed Ottawa half marathon today, loved the course, the crowds were a amazing, and although warm not deathly so.
