I honestly never had luck with the speed/cadence sensors from garmin. Maybe it worked once. I'd maybe consider another ant+ brand.
Doesn't the 910 give you some power readings?

8km/5mi this am / recovery run that was prob too fast in 40min + some weights Some treadmill/public workout rants: A woman on a tm near me was very distracting and not for the first reason you might think - she kept a cycle of walk, run, 5 second sprint, walk at the very back of the tm, and so on. Treadmill Tuesday?
Ran 10mi this morning and felt really good. Now a few hours later sitting at work I'm all stiff as a board. Got to keep getting up and shuffling around.

Re: GPS tracking/safety device?
It still comes down to why do you need it. If you do, you'll find a way to bring it with you. 90% of the population probably has good cell service, and if you don't, then you're going to have to fork in extra for one of those devices listed above.

8km semi ladder - started at 8.0, then up .1 every km to 8.5 then down to 8.3 for the last
Then lower back, lats, dips, pull ups and crunches
Maybe some duwhups and bebops in there too.

Re: GPS tracking/safety device?
Hello, I'm looking for some sort of small, wearable safety device that can be used to track my location on a run, but does not require me to carry a phone as well. • Needs to have a reliable built-in tracking system • If it's a subscription device, it would need to have a small fee, under $10 per m...

Re: Treadmill speed workouts
Me too - I really needed to get some speed in today so I did 2min hard, 1 min easy x 10 with a w/u and c/d.
TMs are great for that. And being able to douse yourself in water on your jogs.

Re: Treadmill speed workouts
Yasso 800s. TM's are great for doing time or distance intervals. Most even have a button which someone showed me this year to set speed intervals for the "ON" and "OFF" paces. Though you can only set 2 (1 on and 1 off) so not so well for fartleks, though you can still do it manua...

She's 4 months and a bit now. Started at 3 mo.
We bought it new (was a present). That's probably why the tire was so rigid to start.

Re: Snowfall Warning Monday
On Monday I finally cracked a speed barrier for the first time in a while and did a 10k under 45 (on the TM). I'm glad I have the consistency building up again that will get me into shape quickly. Very proud of myself.

Re: Running stroller
BTW as a follow up, we ended up getting the Bob SUS. It took a bit of getting used to but its good now. When we got it (pre-assembled from MEC?) the fender was on backwards and I figured it out - someone along the way had used locktite/glue on the screw to glue it into place where it shouldn't have ...

Re: Running stroller
Thanks. Looks like I'll have a fun morning at MEC one of these days. I'm sad that my DD will only be 6mo in mid-Jan so I'm not so cruel as to force her into the dead of winter but we'll see. She has pretty good head control and while she bumps around in a bassinet on our walks she seems to enjoy it....

Re: Running stroller
Thanks guys! Anyone try the bob ironman? it seems to have a fixed wheel only. Since this would be a second stroller I'm not too concerned if its running only. Those RR ones look great! much more aerodynamic :) I wonder why they stopped selling them? Edit: with a bit of research into "chariot&qu...

Thanks Habs,
My daughter was born a few weeks ago. I've just been caught up over the past few months with work and then final prep for our house and of course the arrival of the new boss.

Running stroller
Can someone recommend one? Any success for roads and or trails? seems like they may be a bit different? obviously I wouldn't be doing any killer trails with a stroller. Something about a 6 inch wide catwalk does not say bring a stroller
I probably won't use it with a bike.

Congrats - that's a huge PB and I think it will only help you for the next one. You start to realize that even if you're feeling bad and ease off a bit as long as you keep going good things happen!
