I've had a few runs where I stopped altogether or just pushed and still had a yucky crappy horrible lead-legged run. Funny enough,...

Yay! I can't wait to hear a report - since I'm hoping to do this in 2007!!! I'm hoping to be there to register :) It sounds like there are A LOT of people wanting 2007 spots (maybe because 2007 is the 25th Anniversary of IMC). I wonder how early the line is going to start? Is the finish line close ...

Oh wow - ultras are so cool. How long does the average person take to do 100k?

As for the Death Race - if a team (either RM or All girls RM) starts to form keep me in the loop!

I'm curious about it too... I've always wanted to try the Death Race. An all girls team sounds fun!

Anyone worried about doing a leg in the dark? bears? stuff like that?

Absolutely stunning day in Edmonton - warm breeze, sunshine and blue sky. Made it out for a nice 8 km run with two 'sit up' breaks.

I did the Woody's RV Triathlon in Red Deer in June - it was a good race. They have Olympic, Sprint and Try-a-tri distances. It's ...

Rest day for me. Husband is out helping his friend do fix-it jobs so I'm being Mrs Domestic and washing clothes, floors, changing diapers, etc.

Tomorrow I'm slated to do a long slow 14 KMs. I hope it warms up. Why oh why am I training through winter??
