I always tell someone where I am going, and often bring my dog if I'm running in the dark. He's a husky and looks intimidating. I've never been in a position to find out if he is. I hope I never am.

I think its fine to compare yourself to others as long as you're comparing yourself to the right people. As far as average speed goes, that's a different story. How far are we running today, 5k or 30k? What's the goal, endurance or tempo or speed? Are we racing? Hills? My average speed is anywhere ...

When I run alone in the dark early morning hours I take the same route (and my DH knows what route and when I'm coming back). If I'm running when it's daylight out I'll switch it up.

Made this tonight. I didn't have low sodium soya sauce so i used less than it called for and used fresh ginger. Yummy and REALLY simple!
