Indoor Bicycle Trainer

I am looking at an indoor bicycle trainer for the winter months to cross-train on the days that I won't be running.

I would like to hear from the people that have used one, which one they were using, and what they liked and didn't like about them.

Cheers

I have 2 dogs -- bring them running with me (one at a time though) depending on whether I am doing shorter or longer runs (they have different fitness levels)....

Why do you ask?

I am a newbie - just so happens that I had left a post on another forum that I was going to be in Kingston, and was looking for a safe running route. Jo-Jo was kind enough to offer to run with me if we could meet up - unfortunately, we were not able to do that, but we did exchange emails, and I quic...

Read your race report and can only say "WOW"!!! You have been racing all over the country, and obviously the experience has paid off = you are able to make smart decisions and listen to what your body is telling you - excellent! Being very close to you in age (alright, I'm a little bid older  ...

Thanks for your replies Ironboy & Irongirl -- I am registered for the marathon clinic in January in preparation of the NCM in May 2009, so I am sure I will get good info there..... I was just wondering if it might also be beneficial (perhaps down the road) to work with a coach to concentrate on ...

I am hoping to run the half at 2:00 - however, I went out on the course for a drive yesterday, and saw that it was fairly hilly, so I'll let the day decide how things go.......

I'll watch for the orange legs and skirt over top..... :P :P

Fall Colors Cumberland

If there is anyone here racing on Sunday at the Falls Colors, I will be doing my first half.....

So if anyone wants to try to meet up on the grounds before the race to say Hi -- I'm new here, and it would be great to start putting faces to names..... :P
