I'm thankful that I finished that run! I did Habs/Jwolf/ironcoll's interval workout from yesterday. 2k warm up, then 6x800m at 12.0/12.0/12.1/12.1/12.2/12.3kph with 400m recovery (9.6kph) after each. With cool down, 10k total.

I did 8k easy on the TM this morning - I may have to catch up tomorrow with the intervals!

10k in the toasty comfort of my basement! 2x2k at tempo pace in the middle to keep things interesting.

15k outside today - turned out to be a beautiful morning! I managed to combine running, strength training, and grocery shopping and ran the last km lugging a jug of milk. Made the post-run latte taste even better.

I waited until the afternoon to run, and well worth the wait. It was -4 when I went out, and was -17 this morning when I woke up! A beautiful sunny 10k.

8k on the TM this morning, with 4x400 thrown in. Thankfully, we're supposed to warm up a bit tomorrow, so I should be able to do my long run outside.

Not a chance I was going outside this morning. 10k done on the TM.

I know I said I'm not running any marathons next year, but technically it isn't a marathon, right?!

Congratulations! New York is a really mind-blowing experience. Between the course itself and all the logistics, I think it's a much tougher marathon than most. Great job!

Thanks for the tracking updates! Sounds like brutal headwinds - the only break they're getting is on the stretch down 5th avenue from the Bronx back to Central Park, and that's not much of a break going uphill!

Ran 10k in the morning

It predicted 5-7 minutes slower than my actual marathon times for my two faster marathons, but closer than other calculators (which were 10+ minutes faster than my actual times)

A little work, a lot of freaking out, then get on a plane and fly to New York :o :dance: :dance: So exciting to see all the NYM updates! I can't believe that was already a year ago. 8k total done this morning on the TM. First tempo run in what seems like forever - 2k warm up, then 2 x 2k at 5:15/km.
