Re: Boston Marathon 2013
This is a sick and heinous act at what is the mecca for many marathoners. The reasons why will be discovered. They will never be justifiable reasons. I have run Boston 3 times so I got lots of calls and emails yesterday asking me if I was there. I was not, and hadn't planned on running Boston again...

Re: Tuesday...
I'll be going for a run at lunch today. Same as Kara: because I can.
I hope the run helps me release some of the sadness I've been feeling since yesterday.

Re: Boston Marathon 2013
air space closed. For sure? I can't get info and cell phones aren't working. Subway is closed and police are lining the road (since I'm on the route) so I don't even know if I can get there. It is closed. I know this for a fact. ETA: through work. Heard from senior management of aviation security h...

Vancouver: IMS practitioners
Someone who practices IMS! ;) IMS = intramuscular stimulation. It is usually done by acupuncturists, but can be done by other care professionals like physio, etc. Sent from my GT-S7560M using Tapatalk 2 I got this done by a physio last year and he called it dry needling. Maybe you can look for that...

I'll have to borrow it from the library. I wonder if they have an EPUB? I'm quite happy to be one of the gals with a larger build out on the race course. I'm a firm middle of the packer for AG sprint and Olys amongst the females, which is a big accomplishment for me since I was always last in gym c...

Re: Cipaille
My family recipe is different from the one you posted. I think there must be many variations to that recipe!
We marinate the meats overnight with onions, cinnamon, salt, pepper and some red wine. The assembly is similar to your recipe, but we cook it for a full day at 250F.

Chilly Sunday
Good luck to everyone racing today in Victoria, Chicago or elsewhere. Have fun!
And good luck with chilly long runs today.
No running for me today. Maybe tomorrow, but I have guests so we will see.

David's Tea
I'm pretty sure I heard about reusable tea bags.
I use a tea ball at home (some of the leaves escape) and a bodum at work (no leaves escape). Maybe you could get a bodum if that bothers you? I personally don't mind "eating" a few small pieces of leaves.

No thanks! I gained weight this year and I'm afraid I'd hurt JF's back.
Plus, we're not married so we don't qualify.

Who thinks Lance could win at Kona?
I didn't pay much attention to Lance until after I read his book 5 or so years ago. then I was pro-Lance. Now, this thread has caused me to make sure my gold membership at Livestrong.com does not automatically renew. :( Idealism dies hard. In my opinion, Lance still did a lot for cancer patients an...
