CTRR 2009 "Shallongers" discussion thread.

So, in the other thread, I mentioned we would be aiming for a top half finish as the basic training standard. Ideally, the "team mindset" should be to train for a higher than top half finish. I have had a couple PM's asking about what does top half mean exactly. So, I went through all of legs result...

Navy 10K - Hmmmph

My knee has been bothering me all week (since last Sunday's 5K), but I did the Navy 10K anyways.. I got a somebody to cover for me for little but at work, and squeezed in another race during a coffee break. Things were ok. I didn't start out too fast, (worried about my knee) and was on pace for a PB...

Nope, not a nooner, a 9:00 start.... I had started work at 7 A.M.

I think I'll treat myself to a pry bar for X-mas. So I can squeeze everything in.

LOOPS... I hate loops

You did your best bebe'. It was an honest mistake.

As for a mass pool start.... WTF!!!!

Sounds like you might want to skip this one next year.

And I agree, line up another race. Revenge is sweet and gets rid of those ill feelings.

Determing Interest for the Cabot Trail Relay 2009

Hi, I am determining the amount of people from RM interested in CTRR '09. The race is May 23rd and 24th and you can write off the 22nd as a travel day. I am hoping there will be enough people interested to put together a couple of teams for 2009. I think the interest is there, but I don't know unles...

I Paced A Girl And I Liked It.

So, um, yeah, the rumours are true. I ran a the 2nd Lung Run 5K on my "coffee break" from work Sunday. Luckily the race begins about a mile from work, in fact the first turn around is at the main gate area. So, after getting up really early (way too early.... I had to pack a running bag, since I had...

PB doesn't mean Peanut Butter...

You can't buy PB at a store, you have to go out and earn it!

I hope this makes you hungry for another PB!
