Starving Saturday

Postby IronColl » Sat Nov 08, 2008 6:18 am

Woke up starving, and usually I can ignore it but I was literally getting kicked in the ribs in a "feed me NOW" sort of way, so I am eating my third english muffin with Nutella, and wondering what my donut limit is.

94 minute spin class on the agenda as well as a core session.

Have a great day everyone!

Morning Maniacs. Late afternoon here. It's hot as hell but I'll be heading out for an 8km tempo run in about an hour. Bringing the camera along.

Lots of early risers this morning! I was up early too - for 45 minutes on the trainer. I'm not going to run two days in a row while I'm building up, so today was a cross-training day!

We're off to Napanee for our end-of-season banquet for the rugby team we coach - very excited to see all the girls again!

I am off for a run then studying for the rest of the weekend.
I have an incredibly busy couple of weeks coming up. I would like to have as much work out of the way as possible.

Happy Saturday!
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.

1-hr core, 1-hr stretch. Feeling pretty good now.

Cleaning the apartment to be redy for the visitors from Canada arriving later this afternoon. Tonight, chef cimit is making his famous (among those who have had it anyway) seafood risotto.

Enjoy your Saturday!

Finished one course last night and handed in two major papers at half past midnight, and don't start the next course until tomorrow...what to do, what to do with my one day off? I know...I'll go for a nice "relaxing" run, just me and my iPod...will leave the watch at home and just enjoy the scenery and the running.

Have a great day everyone,

How is it possible to be more tired and fatigued, even though one is probably sleep at least 2-3 hours more per day, since the clocks changed back last weekend ?:think:

Slept in a tad this morning, so decided to skip my run this morning ...  As I have my first shift later this morning, first one a couple of weeks

6592km on the schedule today; any guesses as to where that'll get me? Away for two weeks and little chance for a run due to trip circumstances and a bad knee. Not much internet connection either, see y'all on the flip side.

Heading out to meet up with H2H team. Our first runner is out right now which makes me feel just a little guiltly that I'm home, warm and drinking coffee.
We've got a pretty decent storm happening right now. Lots of rain and the wind seem to be blowing pretty good. Will make for some nice and soggy feet and of course some really good hair! We'll definately make an impression at the pub afterward.
Looking forward to my 13K leg through manure miles. At least the rain should keep the smell down some!

It's raining. The day I wanted to get all the outside clean-up done before it gets cold for real. Soccer on TV in 15 minutes is looking tempting. And I will be off to look for an Actipatch kit (see thread in Gearing Up) to see if it works.

My oldest son is a paramedic student and he was on his first ride-out shift last night with a crew in Prescott. Will be interesting to see what he got up to when he wakes up later this afternoon.

'tis the season to resurrect the Saturday-Sunday LSD quinella. Minus five right now but I'll stay in shorts awhile longer yet.

Just got back from spin class, will do some core work before I hit the shower.
Got all my housecleaning done yesterday, YAY..mind you the yard work and riding will have to wait as it is pouring. :(
So, think I will work on a stained glass project that has been sitting on my work bench for a good 6 months... Then off to hockey practice with the boys later in the afternoon.

Busy weekend! Rake leaves, clean house, repair laptop, laundry, grocery-shopping. Running? maybe next week. Tonight, a party, if the hacking cough subsides.

Happy weekend! rain and all.

My building is back to normal. No more perimieter. But my ankle isn't. It's still swollen and bruised. Stupid headboard. But I want to run. My run on Tuesday was so awesome and I haven't been able to run since (well, apart from soccer on Wednesday).

We'll see.

Wedding shower this afternoon and bachelorette party tonight.
