Later, it's off to Las Vegas for Sunday's Marathon. Looking to beat the 3:58:00 I posted there in 2006.

Yahoo - another race report next week! Enjoy the race, and best of luck on your PB in Vegas....

Went for a 10k run on my lunch hour and tested the thermal tights I bought in August. Very nice and warm! It was windy on the waterfront, but I could hardly feel it. I  my new Hind thermal tights! :D
Finish up some work now, send some invoices and then meet up with DH for a Tafelmusik concert tonight.
Have a good weekend everyone!

I starting to really enjoy cooking. And experimenting with stuff.

For supper, I'm making up some homemade style "Italian chicken fingers", and a "heart & heart salad" (hearts of palm and hearts of artichoke) with oven baked "Spicy Sweet Potato Hash Browns".

I always have the music blaring as I cook in the kitchen. It is actually a lot of fun.

Who knew?

18 slow K at lunch today; even with 3 rest days this week, there's not a lot of jump in my legs.

20 minutes on the bike this morning - slept in so I was short on time. Threw in some tabata intervals, so I was good and sweaty even though it was short!

Swam 1.5k in 31:12, 1 hour of back/shoulders/core, then substituted in 40 minutes of riding the BOMBER on the bike trainer instead of the 10k on account of a newly scheduled 5k Canadian Friendship run in Las Vegas tomorrow.

10km tonight done after I tried to kill myself.

Ottawa got a thin layer of snow and my front steps were sheer ice. So, as I got out of the house to run, my feet slipped under me and found myself falling right on my back. I stayed on the ground for about a minute to figure out if anything was broken, and get back my senses. I still went running, but I kept it slow.

I will be sore tomorrow, but thankfully, it is a rest day.
