It is the first Friday I've worked since starting this job...hopefully it is the last.

I declare today a hoodie day. For no reason in particular, but we haven't had a "nationwide" hoodie day for a while.

For the second time this week, last night, I opted for time with food, drink and friends over a run. So, you're up 2, BJH! But that's OK. This challenge has served it's purpose. It got me running and liking it again! :) I aim to run tonight. But guaranteed to run tomorrow and Sunday! And strength. I'm looking forward to the workouts.

Felt it a bit in the fingers on this morning's ride in. Winter looks like it will arrive next week with a predicted snow fall... looking forward to the ride :D

Owen couldn't make it out last night -- he had a date with the Sleep Fairy!!

I would love to run with you HCmD, but you are clear across the city.... I guess we could each run to a half-way point, say Hi, and return to our point of destination -- that would make it what?? A 50K LSD each!! :D

I'm still feeling the DOMS from Wed's leg workout. Yesterday, I did a 30 min spin and 30 min power walk.

Today is my rest day though it really won't be as I still have to do all that housework that I was suppose to do earlier this week.

Have a great day all!

T- 5 days ...until I run again.

Planning for a gym workout tonight after work. Hoping s/o is home early enough to join me... we so seldom get a chance to work out together! (Good sign, he's at least in this city already!!!! Here's hoping!)

TGIF all!

For those enjoying festive parties tonight, have fun, be careful and don't drink and drive! Three cheers to all those DD's out there!

A nice chilly morning for a nice easy 8k. Well part of it wasn't as easy as maybe it should have been because I wasn't really paying attention and wound up running a few k too fast, but nothing too strenuous.

I get to hang out with drunken bankers at my wife's Xmas party tonight.
2009 Highlights
Marathon - 2:54:05 (Mar 22 - Tokyo)
Half - 1:20:00 (Apr 26 - Hartwell)
5k - 17:09 (Acura 5k - Jul 19)
800m - 2:16.80 (York U - Jul 28 )
Now - Getting back my running fitness
My training log

Why practice running slow? It comes naturally!

"There are two types of injuries that we older runners get: those that we can run with and those that we can't. And if you're over 30 and don't have one or the other, you aren't training hard enough." - Younger Legs blog

Which bank? My bank's x-mas party is tonight, too (I'm not going, though).
