Hello from my new condo! I moved yesterday and everything is still in boxes. I really should have labeled everything. I did remember to keep a pair of scissors unpacked!

I don't think I'll have time for a run or find my running gear today.

Ian.

I've run the last 5 days in a row, so no running today except for when coaching my daughter's hoops team at a 90 minute practice this morning....our first practice back since our Christmas tourney so we're a bit rusty....

A beautiful day in Calgary, warm and sunny with great views of the mountains today. Just finished 15k.

I am actually at work, as I was sick during the week, so need to get things done, but I brought my stuff so I could go for a run around 2pm so I at least get something out of this nice weather.

We don't have a shower here, so it's not something I can do during a normal work day, but I'll do it today and stink myself out for the rest of the afternoon, then go home and shower..

Wow, as gross as that sounds typing it out, it didn't sound that bad when I thought about it as I was leaving the house.... :?

just back from giving blood, where I set a PB: 6 minutes! It seemed like I had just sat down, and then I was finished! wild. Now I get to chill with my book and cuddle with my puppy before going to work in a few hours. :)

Good luck in Disney!

I just got back from an easy 6.5km with a friend who is getting back to her LSD. I joined her for a bit to catch up. Pouring rain but good company!

LSD tomorrow morning

Nice. I used to do that too when I was a student: the blood PB (about 4 minutes if I recall), not to mention the give-a-pint-then-drink-a-pint duathlon.

+1 in this neck of the prairies today for a 25K run. Was down to a single tech shirt for the second half.

When I donate, I'm a quick bleeder too.....I usually have to call one of the nurses over to let him/her know that's the bag is topped off! 8)

Very tired today. Got up, had breakfast and fell asleep watching soccer. So, back to bed for another 4 hours of shut-eye. I almost feel human again...now, that's a scary thought!

I SO wish I was in Florida. :(

Oh well, I had a day off and that is good enough for me!

I made it to the gym and now I am shaky from the weights. Should hurt but good tomorrow...

Tonight, movies with my guys and my beautiful daughter in my arms. It doesn't get much better...
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.
Life is fluid and ever changing. I am too.

Exciting- congrats! What neighbourhood?
No exercise for me today... still not feeling great, and it's graduated to actually not feeling great for a lot of the day (from feeling good and then suddenly feeling bad). We're taking my parents out to dinner tonight to thank them for the trip... guess it won't be an expensive meal anyway- lol.

About 20 degrees colder today than yesterday. Brrr.

Up at 4:30 this morning, out the door at 5:00 and on the MTB trail by 6:00. The first hour or so it was dark so I got a chance to properly try out my new nice and bright bike light. A nice 17k MTB on the 'Trail of the Four Winds'. This is the trail I suspect we will be MTBing on in a couple of weeks - hope to get back out there this Friday for another run. A couple of pretty grueling hills and some muddy spots. Didn't help that I couldn't get out of 2 on the front gear...

Again, congrats to the Disney halfers.

Have a great day everyone!

55 minutes on the bike trainer done.
This afternoon I went to an open house for a newly formed xc ski group. It was great :D I've finally found like-minded snow searching people :!: Looking forward to making trails with them :!:

Hoping all is going well in Disney Land :D

I am crossing fingers. I had great runs over the last two weeks. My stupid hip has felt the best in a long long time.

Good news, Edith. Fingers crossed that all that nasty stuff is behind you...so to speak.

Finally sat on my own bike. 25K on the computrainer. I rode a course that I made out of Garmin 305 file of our car ride from Toronto to Guelph one day. 25K might have got me into Mississauga :) Spin classes twice a week paid off. This felt easy and relaxed, but my bike is still causing 'something' to happen to my left SI Joint......

update from my plan:

swim didn't happen due to too many errands this am - so this will happen tomorrow.

brick - turned out to be only a spin for me as once I got on the bike, I could feel the effects of this cold I still have - so I ended up with just a 2hr spin doing 1:40 of the drills on the Couer d'Alene course and then an additional 20min while Dave and Mark headed out for their run.
Race Hard. Race Happy.

Oh no! Are they ALL moving to Ontario with you?

Gym today. Forgot my shoes, had to go all the way back home to get them, when I got back to the gym it seems I'd lost my mojo. Completed my workout but certainly not the best effort for the week. Tomorrow IS a new day!
