Can you get someone to tape it for you Andy?

Oh, nevermind. I see I'm way too late.

Well, Hang in there, Andy.

Hoping to do 2 hours on the bike, while resting my slightly re-injured foot. Another 2 days, and I should be good to go...

It's super snowy here anyhow!

Have a great day all!

I am looking forward to the pictures Andy!

I planned to walk to work today but when I got up, it was -22 and my bed was +20, so the bed won. I'll drive today.
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.

Long run and yoga. But, because I'm a huge wimp and am getting over a cold... Long run is being done at the gym. I may regret this decision after 1:45 on a treadmill!
Next?

BJH should be here in about 30 minutes to get me for the long run (she is running a bit before she picks me up). She sent me the route suggestion and I noticed that it ends at the coffee shop :)

It looks like a hilly one!

Up early and fueling for 9 mile LSD today. We're running on compact/slushy snow so I"ll be wearing the screw shoes!

Longest LSD in awhile, hopefully all we go well.

Good luck to all Disney runners. Can't wait to read/see all about it.

Best of luck to all Maniac running Goofy today.
Andy take care of that achilles!
Long run scheduled today, cool but sunny. Probably do it mid day when sun is at highest and road has a chance to have at least some bare spots.
If not will have to grin and bear the hamstermill..
Then going out to make footprints in the field with one of the ponies. :D

I'm trying to decide if I should do my long run today. I'm still not, um, back to normal, but I feel OK at the moment. If I do it, I'm going to run on the TM. I'm SO glad I joined the gym on Friday! Not only for this little annoying wrinkle, but because it snowed last night and the roads are covered.

Good Morning.

Just back from a really nice 21K LSD. It was very slow because of the snow last night, but I was able to stick to snowpacked areas. I really enjoyed it. The sun was shining, and I was appropriately dressed for the cool temps, so it was all good!

Also discovered that cemetaries are the best maintained properties in the city. I meandered through York cemetary today for about 5K and it was clear thorughout! Find a cemetary and run it!

Morning, beautiful and sunny day here!

Hope the achilles hold on Andy! Good luck Tori & Moof also.

I think I'll do 20 mins on the trainer and then my 3 miles run. It's a slow recovery for my foot. I might go to the doc before I start working full time next week.

It's the return of Jack Bauer tonight!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!

24!! I'm so glad you mentioned it! I had completely forgotten!

Good luck Disney racers. Hope everyone holds up!

I'm going to TRY to do a 90 run/walk on the TM today. Haven't done anything that long in a long, long time. I will plan on doing lots of walking and hopefully I'll be able to manage it.

Morning maniacs. I am glad that my hips and legs are not sore today. I did 18km yesterday and although the distance was not the farthest, the terrain was like running through soup. Good strength training for the legs :)

Today I am thinking of heading to the pool to kick out my legs. Supposed to have soccer tonight, but looks like I will have to miss. My mom is really in a bad patch right now with her dementia and I told my Dad I would come over and help him out with getting her showered, do some chores around their house and make him supper. It is getting harder - the days of her being at home seem to be getting limited. :(

Good luck to all of you running in Florida! Can't wait for the reports!

Well most, if not all, of the Disney people will be finished now. I hope that they all had a great experience!!

Pour moi - It was my last LSD before the Rock n Roll Half next Sunday.
Pros: Sunny, No Wind
Cons: Cold, Poor Traction

Overall it was a good 20 km run with a nice group of Waterloo RR runners.

Well, I decided the wisest move would be to miss my long run. I feel OK, but as my training doesn't "officially" start for another two weeks, I think it's smarter to let this bug (if that's what it is) get out of my system. I am going for a walk though, to return some books, and spend my $10 Indigo gift card at Coles. :)

Did another little brick workout last night. My body doesn't seem to like running lately, so I am grateful for my bike trainer. Will try to run later today.
