What is the deal with the meet and greet?
I have to work all weekend but might be able to come out after work Saturday night for a supper-type activity.
I used to run. All the time.
Now? Notsomuch.
I'm still a runner, though.
Life is fluid and ever changing. I am too.

Well, decide what you want to eat. We can do quite fancy like Brewbaker's/McGinnis Landing or laid back Montana's/BP type thing.

Accckkkk, just received an email from the Race Director, informing us that ....

Due to flood damage to the Gibson Trail, the Full and Half Marathon routes have been revised slightly. Please click on the link below to view the new course route.

As it turns out, I won't be able to make it to F'ton this year...I'm so disappointed...

Andy, I think you'll really like the course...the trails are beautiful in F'ton and one of my absolute favourite places to run.

Have a good race, to all those running it.
Lifetime race count: 6 Halfs, 6 Fulls, part of a Death Race, some 10Ks thrown in there too
Marathon #5 dedicated to my sister and all cancer survivors...please see this link for my dedication: http://www3.telus.net/ccandhh

I'd like to be a glowworm, a glowworm's never glum; 'cause how can you be grumpy when the sun shines out your bum?

Why do I sense the feeling that it will likely be a wet one on race day ??:think::think:

Andy,

I know you like to try to be prepared, but checking the weather more than 5 minutes ahead of time just does not work on the east coast.

Here we predict the weather like this:

Hang a chain out your window. If it is wet, its raining. If it is white, its snowing. If it is stiff, it is likely freezing rain. If it is hot, it is sunny. If it is moving, there is a breeze. If it is standing straight out, there is a "slight offshore breeze".

IF you don't like the weather you see, wait 5 minutes and check again.

And, yet, all the $millions$ spent for technology .. your method is likely more accurate then the other hi-tech systems out there ... :P
