Postby Dr. S » Fri May 29, 2009 5:13 am

Morning!

First bus/subway commute in a about a month. I left my bike at work yesterday. My legs feel heavy from my tempo run... but gotta do tae-box at lunch and bring the bike back tonight!!

TGIF!

Have a good one.

Going into work early today. Uggh. I think my dogs are confused. Running to work in the rain - at least it's not snow. :D

My legs are finally recovering from the 250 squats the other day. That certainly is not good for you, I am sure. :?

Going for a walk with the little Miss and a girlfriend this morning. Time to make Moose a little less Moose like in appearance.

The hospital called yesterday. My CT scan is Monday. Kinda freaked that it is that soon. I knew it was rushed but wow.

Happy Friday!

My training log

Why practice running slow? It comes naturally!

No running today- going to Holland NY after school to see Mimi, who turned 98 on Tuesday! 8) I'll run a couple of times down there though. TGIF!!

It's a cool, humid morning here - makes for a great run. 8k, hilly route done.

I saw a fox this morning that had a squirrel cornered against a tree in the middle of a lawn. I don't think that squirrel was long for this world.

Good. The sooner the better.

Brought some clothes to head to the gym at lunch. Not sure what I'll do there yet. Cross training, low impact. Trying to give this calf muscle some time off from pounding.

Pool was closed last night. :x

Today, rode my bike to work (road was a bit wet, but no rain) but I forgot to inflate my tires so it felt like I was riding through sand all the way here. Plus, there was a bit of wind from the west that slowed me down.

Massage after work, watch the Toronto Crit (bike race) down at St. Lawrence Market, then ride home.

It was still moving, but it didn't seem to be climbing. The fox was kind of nipping at it, so it may have already been injured.

Crap! The RMT's office called to say that he had an emergency and has to cancel. Grrrr! It's been weeks since I've had a massage and I reeeeeeeally needed it. Now I have to wait until next week. :(

Do you really think Nick needs Friday to come along before he has a Guinness?
